IT Vendor Management Analyst
Job Description:
- Oversee the performance, contracts, and relationships of key technology vendors
- Collaborate with the VP of Technology/IT Operations
- Develop and execute a vendor management program
- Enhance service quality and delivery through continuous performance monitoring
- Drive cost savings by negotiating favorable contracts
- Mitigate risks related to vendor issues
- Proactively monitor and manage contract renewals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of combined experience in broader IT roles
- At least 3+ years of hands on experience in IT Vendor Management negotiating contracts
- Strong understanding of IT procurement, vendor governance, and operational processes
- Financial acumen (cost management, budget alignment) required
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC, and Hi-Trust beneficial
- Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions required
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, particularly AWS, strongly desired
