Lead Financial Analyst - Remote

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Lead Financial Analyst to join their remote finance team. This pivotal role will be responsible for providing critical financial insights, driving forecasting accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. You will lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, corporate finance, and accounting practices. Responsibilities include preparing complex financial reports, identifying key financial trends and risks, and recommending strategic actions to improve financial performance. You will collaborate closely with various department heads to understand their financial needs and provide expert guidance. This is a fully remote position, requiring excellent communication, collaboration, and self-management skills to work effectively within a distributed team environment. Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial analysis software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau) is essential. Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; a CPA or CFA designation is a significant advantage. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance is necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely are paramount.
