About the position The Analyst, Detection Operations supports the daily execution of the Internal Fraud Center of Excellence (IFCOE) alert review and referral processes. Reporting to the Director of Detection Operations, responsible for reviewing alerts and identifying potential incidents of internal fraud, misconduct, or policy violations. This individual conducts preliminary assessments of alerts, business referrals, and data-driven findings by following established procedures to determine appropriate escalation or referral for investigation. This role ensures timely, accurate, and confidential handling of sensitive information and contributes to protecting the organization’s reputation, and compliance posture.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the daily execution of the Internal Fraud Center of Excellence (IFCOE) alert review and referral processes.
  • Reviews alerts and identifies potential incidents of internal fraud, misconduct, or policy violations.
  • Conducts preliminary assessments of alerts, business referrals, and data-driven findings by following established procedures to determine appropriate escalation or referral for investigation.
  • Ensures timely, accurate, and confidential handling of sensitive information.
  • Contributes to protecting the organization’s reputation and compliance posture.

Requirements

  • Experience in reviewing alerts and identifying potential incidents of internal fraud, misconduct, or policy violations.
  • Ability to conduct preliminary assessments of alerts, business referrals, and data-driven findings.
  • Proficiency in following established procedures for escalation or referral for investigation.
  • Skill in timely, accurate, and confidential handling of sensitive information.
