SEO & Content Creation Assistant
About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented SEO & Content Creation Assistant to support our clients’ online presence across websites and social media platforms. This role is primarily focused on SEO support and content execution, with a secondary focus on social media content creation. You’ll work closely with the Creative Lead to help deliver high-quality, engaging content that aligns with each brand’s voice, goals, and visual identity. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both the analytical side of SEO and the creative side of digital content using lifestyle footage.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Content Support (Primary Focus) ● Assist with SEO-related tasks including keyword optimisation and on-page SEO updates ● Create and format SEO-friendly blog content ● Upload and manage website content in WordPress and Shopify ● Support content optimisation using SEO software and tools ● Assist with keyword research and topic ideation for blogs and campaigns ● Review and refine content to ensure readability, consistency, and quality ● Monitor and support website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console ● Help maintain organised workflows and project updates through Asana Social Media Content Creation ● Create engaging social media content for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest ● Design visually appealing posts, Stories, and short-form video content using Canva ● Edit simple but engaging Reels and TikTok videos using text overlays, clips, and trending formats ● Adapt content into platform-specific formats where needed ● Follow templates, brand guidelines, and creative direction to maintain consistency across clients ● Assist with ongoing content scheduling and content refreshes \n Required Skills & Experience● Experience using SEO software and tools ● Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console ● Basic to intermediate video editing skills for TikTok/Reels content ● Experience using Canva for social media content creation ● Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest trends ● Strong attention to detail and organisational skills ● Ability to work independently while following creative direction ● Good written communication and basic content writing/editing skills ● Experience using project management tools such as Asana Nice to Have● Experience working across multiple brands or client accounts ● Strong awareness of TikTok and Instagram content trends ● Experience creating engaging text-overlay and storyline-based short-form videos ● Ability to identify high-performing, aesthetically strong content ● Experience working with lifestyle footage ● Familiarity with SEO tools such as Rank Score or Link Artemi \n$250 - $400 a month Location: Remote (supporting a U.S.-based client) Hours: Part-time (10 hours per week, with potential for increased hours over time) \n Why Join Assist World? 100% REMOTE $50 birthday bonus $200 testimonial bonus $500 entry monthly raffle NO TRACKER.
