Job Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve issues and provide support.
  • De-escalating customer complaints: De-escalate customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining accurate records: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions for auditing purposes.
  • Providing feedback and suggestions: Provide feedback on customer issues and suggest improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Upselling products or services: Upsell products or services to customers when applicable to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 months of customer service experience: Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers.
  • Ability to work remotely: Ability to work from home in a virtual team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to resolve customer issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are preferred:
