About the position Due to an abundance of new customer names generated from our marketing efforts, we are in a significant growth mode for Sales. We are seeking experienced and professional Account Managers to join our tele sales team. While prior coin knowledge is not required, we value great storytelling skills, a charismatic personality, a trainable nature, a drive to succeed, and the capability to overcome objections. This role is focused on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving long-term engagement between AMS and its clients. The main responsibilities include providing expert guidance to customers in acquiring rare and unique collectible coins, researching specific product requests, and negotiating payment terms to support ongoing sales. Additionally, the role is responsible for meeting sales objectives, including revenue targets, new account creation, and achieving key performance metrics such as call volume and talk time.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • At least 2-4 years in a sales role, with a proven track record of engaging customers, driving revenue, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • 2+ years of experience in an outbound sales environment preferred, with the ability to proactively reach out to potential customers and manage high-volume call interactions.
  • Proficiency in sales presentations, closing strategies, and using scripts and product knowledge to tailor approaches to customer needs and objections.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive sales pitches and address customer concerns.
  • Comfortable navigating sales software, phone systems, and Microsoft Outlook for tracking interactions, managing emails, and scheduling.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to multitask, handle rejection, and maintain a professional and positive attitude under pressure.
  • Strong emphasis on ethics, trustworthiness, honesty, persistence, and determination in all sales interactions.
