AZA & BBG Movement Intern - Starting Fall 2026 BBYO Washington DC Hub (Open to Virtual) We’re looking for an innovative, self-starting intern to join the team to strengthen the operational and programmatic support for Jewish teens around the world. This position is ideal for a hardworking generalist looking to expand their project management skills, learn best practices for program development, hungry to grow skills in all areas, and contribute creatively to a global organization with a growing audience of over 70,000 teens worldwide. This role reports to the Senior Director of Teen Leadership. Who We Are: We're a global network of passionate professionals excited to make a difference in the lives of Jewish teens. We support more than 725 local, teen-led chapters in over 60 countries, at more than 100 weekend retreats during the school year and across a rapidly growing suite of global exchanges, campaigns, and movement initiatives year round. Who You Are: You are excited about a role in data organization, systems development, process management, and more. You find joy in building processes and workflows, are detail-oriented, and are a go-getter. You consider yourself operations and logistics minded, and can articulate systems and workflows to others. When given a blank slate, you are excited to research and create an engaging proposal or pitch a new approach. You are creative and love to innovate new workflows, projects, and systems. You are able to work on multiple projects at the same time, enjoy working with teens, and are a self-starter and motivator. This is a paid internship compensated at $18.40 an hour, with up to 19 hours/week. What you'll get to do as our AZA & BBG Movement Intern: Content Generation and Editing Support content generation for BBYO’s Program Bank and Toolbox, including editing resources to support modern teen practices and strengthen the leadership experience. Convert programs from immersive experiences into clear, easy-to-use templates for teens and advisors. Write and draft templates for emails, program planning, and project management. Research and support new and existing projects, including identifying experiential vendors for IC and other initiatives. Systems Management Support the day-to-day operations of the International Leadership Network. Support Movement-wide communications from the Teen Leadership division. Review data from platforms such as Salesforce, teen surveys, and other Movement tools to identify trends and suggest ways professionals and teen leaders can better support members. Build, manage, and quickly learn systems within JotForm, Airtable, Google and Microsoft Suite, and other content management systems, in order to maintain clean, current, and accurate data. Strategic Support Provide administrative oversight for AZA & BBG Movement Initiatives, Stand UP, International Awards, BBYO On Demand, ILN Immersive Experiences, and more, to further the Movement’s agenda. Contribute to in-person maintenance of DC Hub supply management. Handle in-office operational tasks such as printing, shipping, organizing materials, and preparing supplies for programs and events Opportunities to mentor and support members of BBYO’s International Board (dependent on individual strengths, skillset, and experience). Role Requirements: Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited university A creative and responsible self-starter who is comfortable working collaboratively and taking initiative Detail-oriented with excellent writing and editing skills Systems-minded and can learn technology architecture with ease Proficient or willing to learn Airtable, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) A background in BBYO or a similar youth/Jewish organization is strongly preferred Availability to work 15-19 hours per week Ability to work in-person at BBYO’s Washington DC Hub is strongly preferred, but not required Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship Apply To This Job
