From estimating, detailing and design, to Erection and close out, our projects are handled in-house allowing us to adapt quickly to your project needs. Our certified welders and craftsman have the ability to weld and fabricate steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Mid-State Metals LLC is centrally located in Orlando, Florida. We have the ability to ship our custom products throughout the United States. We also erect our products on job sites throughout the Southeastern US.Job DescriptionMid-State Metals, LLC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to supervise and lead foremen and field crews in the installation of miscellaneous steel. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily job site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, project requirements, and applicable regulations.Primary ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, coordinate, and communicate with foremen, crews, subcontractors, and the project management team to ensure timely and successful project completion.Oversee daily field operations and provide leadership to foremen and crews performing miscellaneous steel installation.Prepare and maintain accurate project reports, logs, and status updates.Coordinate and secure the tools, equipment, and materials necessary to execute projects efficiently.Actively promote and enforce job site safety in compliance with company policies, site‑specific safety plans, and all applicable safety regulations.Conduct regular job site safety meetings to reinforce safety expectations and ensure compliance with required standards.Monitor and evaluate the performance of foremen and crew members; provide guidance, coaching, and corrective feedback as needed.Travel as required to multiple job sites to support operations and ensure consistency in execution and safety practices.QualificationsKnowledge, Experience, and SkillsThorough knowledge of miscellaneous steel fabrication and installation, including applicable industry standards, processes, and guidelines.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in miscellaneous steel or ironworker operations, including supervisory leadership responsibility.Strong understanding of industry standards, installation techniques, and best practices related to stairs, handrails, ladders, platforms, frames, and other miscellaneous steel items.Proven ability to read, interpret, and work from shop drawings, erection drawings, and blueprints.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.Preferred CertificationsWelding certificationRigging and Signaling certificationOSHA 10‑Hour or OSHA 30‑Hour certificationForklift certificationBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus pay Apply To This Job
