This role will be 100% remote with overnight travel to customer sites in a regional area. Periodic travel may be required outside of the geographical region. The preferred location for this role is Florida.JOB SUMMARYThe Telecommunications Installer DC (Level III) will work on the addition or removal of wiring and connections on working and non-working DC power equipment. Responsible for weekly tool inventory, writing and submitting the MOP (Method of Procedure) and JIM (Job Information Memorandum). Responsible for timesheet for self and crew, safety adherence, and jobsite house cleaning. This role will report to the Region Service Manager.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESLead small to medium sized service projects.On-time completion and quality of the installation project.Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials, weekly status report to supervisor, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings.Assist Level IV Technician on lead verification (voltage).Add or remove DC power systems, batteries, and add or remove common systems equipment hardware.Support installation, commissioning of wireless, datacenter, and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment.Comply with all EHS and regulatory guidelines.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma/GEDThree years of experience in Telecom DC power equipment installationTwo years of experience in pulling & sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mountingValid driver's licenseComputer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / WordAbility and willingness to travel 100% of the timeAbility and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)DESIRED CHARACTERISTICSStrong customer service mindsetPrior field engineering experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsAC Electrical ExperiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift at least 40 lbs.Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove 80-750 lb. batteries.Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of timeContinuous standingFrequently reaching above, below or at shoulder levelFrequently bending, twisting, or stoopingFrequently crouching or squattingBe exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold.Proficient in using computer-based management and administrative tools, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce (SFDC), and Workfront.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSOmniOn Power will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
