Adobe Experience Developer / Technical Lead

HBK is looking for an Adobe Experience Developer / Technical Lead to support the ongoing development and optimization of HBKworld.com. As part of a cross-functional Scrum team, you will combine hands on development with technical leadership responsibilities, helping to deliver high-quality digital experiences on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will work closely with the Product Owner, business stakeholders, UX designers, and external development partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. While remaining actively involved in development, you will provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and help ensure delivery quality across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-On Development Design, develop, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, services, and integrations. Develop front-end and back-end functionality using Java, HTL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Configure and enhance AEM content authoring experiences and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents. Contribute to technical improvements, platform upgrades, and continuous optimization initiatives. Participate in development activities throughout the full software development lifecycle. Technical Leadership Act as the primary technical point of contact within the Scrum team. Support solution design and ensure alignment with AEM best practices and HBK technical standards. Review code and deliverables from external development partners. Help refine technical requirements and estimate development efforts. Identify technical risks and propose practical solutions. Promote code quality, maintainability, security, and performance standards. Security & Compliance Work closely with HBK's Cyber Security team to ensure digital solutions meet corporate security standards and policies. Participate in security reviews, threat assessments, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation activities. Support remediation of findings from penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and security audits. Collaborate with Cyber Security and Infrastructure teams on authentication, authorization, data protection, and secure integrations. Agile Team Collaboration Work closely with the Product Owner to understand business priorities and requirements. Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with UX, content, SEO, analytics, and marketing teams to deliver customer-focused digital experiences. Support testing, deployment, and release activities. External Partner Collaboration Collaborate with external development agencies and implementation partners. Provide technical guidance and clarification during development activities. Review solutions and ensure delivered functionality meets requirements and quality standards. Facilitate knowledge sharing between internal and external teams. Required Skills & Experience Adobe Experience Manager 3-7 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager. Experience developing custom AEM components, templates, and services. Experience working with AEM as a Cloud Service is preferred. Technical Skills Strong Java development skills. Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development. Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs and enterprise applications. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices. Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices. Professional Skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Ability to balance hands-on development with technical coordination responsibilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience collaborating with external development teams or agencies is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Adobe Experience Manager certification. Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products. Experience integrating AEM with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms. Knowledge of digital analytics and customer experience optimization. Experience in a global B2B environment. Success in This Role Consistently delivers high-quality AEM solutions for HBKworld.com. Helps improve platform quality, stability, and performance through hands-on development and technical guidance.
