  • Hold a valid NY State Visual Arts Initial Certificate
  • Previous experience as a General Education Teacher, with a focus on art instruction preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging visual arts lessons to students assigned across grades (location and grade levels may vary)
  • Utilize various art mediums and technologies to enrich the student learning experience
  • Foster an appreciation for creativity and encourage artistic exploration
  • Assess and document student progress, providing constructive feedback for growth and development
  • Collaborate with faculty members to support school-wide arts initiatives, events, or art shows This position offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week), providing you with ample time to truly make an impact on young minds. The onsite nature of this role allows direct engagement with students in a supportive educational community.
