Location: All Locations in the United States Work Arrangement: Remote, In-office or Hybrid A Day in the Life The Senior Business Analyst develops new business strategies, solutions, and best practices through the firm’s strategy and technology operating model. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for assisting the Firm improving business efficiency through digital technology initiatives. A typical day as a Senior Business Analyst might include the following: Conducts interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are accurately understood. Prioritizes requirements based on business needs and strategic objectives. Translates business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams. Participates in designing software architecture and system integrations and ensures they meet technical requirements and business needs. Assesses proposed solutions to ensure they meet business needs and requirements. Conducts feasibility studies and impact analyses to evaluate potential changes due to technical issues or software defects. Evaluates existing systems to enhance or optimize performance. Works with QA teams to develop test plans and testing procedures to ensure quality standards are met and function as intended. Assists development teams by providing clarification on requirements and technical guidance during implementation. Facilitates communication between stakeholders and project teams to achieve alignment. Analyzes business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Creates detailed technical documentation, including software requirements specifications, use cases, and system diagrams, providing recommendations for optimization. Maintains updated records of system modifications and technical configurations. Supports organizational change initiatives by facilitating training sessions and user acceptance testing. Develops change management plans and communication strategies to support project implementation. Provides support to project managers in project planning, monitoring, and reporting. Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects. Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines. Who You Are You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, IT or any related field. You have 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst. You have experience with data analysis, process modeling, and familiarity with software development lifecycles. You have experience participating in cross-functional projects where analysis and problem-solving skills are applied. You have knowledge of process modeling techniques and tools (e.g., flowcharts, BPMN, value stream mapping). You have understanding of industry-specific domains, including relevant trends, regulations, and best practices. You are familiar with project management and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Product operating models). You can gather and document requirements using interviews, workshops, and surveys. You have an understanding of software development life cycles and system design principles. You can analyze data to support decision-making and identify effective solutions aligned with business objectives. You are proficient in business analysis and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Visio, Tableau). You have strong communication skills for conveying information clearly across technical and non-technical audiences. You can build stakeholder relationships, resolve conflicts, and align business and IT priorities. You have attention to detail for ensuring accuracy in documentation and requirements. You can anticipate issues and apply proactive mitigation strategies. You have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively. You are willing to learn new technologies and methodologies as needed. You have experience being an informal leader, mentoring others, and contributing to team performance. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
