Our client, a pioneer in remote early childhood education, is seeking an innovative and dedicated Early Childhood Development Specialist to join their fully remote team. This crucial role focuses on designing and developing engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning materials for young children (ages 2-5). You will play a key part in shaping early learning experiences that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through creative and evidence-based approaches. Your expertise will guide the creation of resources that can be delivered effectively in a remote setting. As an Early Childhood Development Specialist, you will be responsible for researching and applying the latest theories and best practices in early childhood education to create comprehensive lesson plans, activity guides, and interactive content. You will collaborate with instructional designers and educational technologists to ensure that the curriculum is engaging, accessible, and adaptable for remote learning platforms. A deep understanding of child development milestones and the ability to translate educational concepts into practical, fun, and meaningful learning opportunities are essential. You will also contribute to the development of assessment tools and strategies to monitor children's progress and inform instructional adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop curriculum frameworks and lesson plans for early childhood education (ages 2-5). Create engaging and age-appropriate learning activities, games, and materials suitable for remote delivery. Incorporate principles of child development, play-based learning, and early literacy/numeracy. Ensure curriculum aligns with early learning standards and best practices. Collaborate with instructional designers to translate curriculum into digital formats and interactive experiences. Develop creative content for parent engagement and support resources. Research and recommend educational tools and technologies for remote learning environments. Assist in the creation of assessment strategies to track child development milestones. Stay current with research and trends in early childhood education and digital learning. Review and evaluate existing curriculum for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement. Contribute to building a vibrant online learning community for children, parents, and educators. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in curriculum development or direct instruction within early childhood settings. Proven experience in designing educational content, preferably for online or remote delivery, is highly desirable. A strong understanding of child development theories and pedagogical approaches is essential. Excellent creativity, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment are required.
