[Remote] Key Account Manager, Industrial Refrigeration (Remote, Southeast U.S.A.)

The Key Account Manager will play a vital role in growing the Industrial Refrigeration business by building relationships with customers and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Grow revenue for Danfoss’ industrial refrigeration portfolio by identifying, developing, and winning new opportunities across your assigned region
- Build and Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, contractors, consultants, and end users to influence specifications and project outcomes
- Develop and Execute account plans, manage opportunities in CRM tools, and coordinate activities directly or through representative partners
- Apply your refrigeration expertise to prepare quotations, size valves and components, and propose competitive ammonia and CO₂-based solutions
- Deliver technical guidance and training to customers and industry partners, strengthening trust and increasing adoption of Danfoss solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a strong business-oriented mindset
- Minimum of 3 years in industrial refrigeration, in a sales or sales-support role
- In-depth understanding of the industrial refrigeration market, including products, key customers, competitors, and equipment suppliers
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly assess customer challenges and anticipate future needs
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and drive for results
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences
- Professional, persuasive, and confident communicator
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including representative networks
- Willingness to travel up to 40% within the assigned territory
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and results-driven
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach
- Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Knowledge of system controls and power systems is a strong plus
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
