Child Protection Case Manager
1099 Child Protection Case Manager (Full-Time or Part-Time) SIVS LLC | Remote + Significant Domestic Travel | $50K–$100K+ (plus USG per diem) Law Enforcement experience strongly preferred for higher pay SIVS LLC is hiring experienced 1099 Case Managers to support our USG contract protecting children from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and trafficking. You’ll supervise small field teams (licensed PIs, off-duty police, and social workers) during wellness checks and site visits across the United States. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and train field teams on high-stakes wellness checks, safety verifications, and address confirmations
- Deliver real-time quality oversight, standardized documentation, and compliance
- Immediately escalate suspected abuse, neglect, trafficking, or safety concerns
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, CPS, and partner agencies for protective actions
- Oversee trauma-informed assessments and sponsor education
- Travel domestically: Minimum 20 weeks per year (Part-Time) or 40+ weeks per year (Full-Time) over the 2-year contract period
Requirements:
- Prior law enforcement, investigations, or child protective services experience strongly preferred (higher compensation tier)
- Proven ability to stay calm, decisive, and protocol-driven in high-risk situations
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively and work independently with minimal supervision
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English + one other language strongly preferred (translation tool proficiency required)
- Must pass comprehensive DHS background screening; obtain Virginia 02E PI certification (course support provided by SIVS); maintain $1M liability insurance as a 1099 contractor
