Remote Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Senior Staff Accountant to join their finance department in a fully remote reputed company. This pivotal role will be responsible for a wide range of reputed company accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and reputed company of financial records. You will play a key part in month-end and year-end reputed company processes, financial statement preparation, general ledger management, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and have experience with financial reporting. You will work closely with internal teams, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial planning & analysis, to provide accurate financial insights. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote work environment. You must be proficient in accounting software and advanced reputed company skills. Proactive problem-solving and the ability to identify and implement process improvements are highly valued. Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide explanations for significant fluctuations. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Process journal entries, accruals, and other accounting transactions. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA designation strongly preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger accounting and financial reporting. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, reputed company, reputed company) and advanced reputed company reputed company skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reputed company formulas). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
