Chief Scientist
Description Position Summary Leads advanced software development and microservice architecture for Avum's reputed company applications. Manages Java development teams, drives technical strategy for microservice platforms, and ensures audit compliance for reputed company codebases.
Key Responsibilities
- reputed company development and maintenance of reputed company microservices (Java/Spring Boot, Tanzu)
- Manage PPMAP application and project including requirements gathering and stakeholder coordination
- reputed company and manage Java development team for microservice architecture work
- Ensure compliance with code audit requirements and reputed company standards
- Drive technical strategy for API development, plugin architecture, and system integration
- Mentor senior developers on architecture reputed company and best practices
- Coordinate with QA and operations on deployment and production support
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $155,000 – $210,000 annually, with a reputed company midpoint of $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in computer science, engineering, or reputed company field
- 12+ years of software development experience with 5+ in architecture/leadership
- Expert-level Java, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture skills
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience with Tanzu/reputed company reputed company or Kubernetes-based microservice platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Publications or patents in relevant technical domains
- Experience with reputed company plugin development
- AWS or reputed company architecture certifications
- CMMC/NIST compliance experience
