Senior Manager, IT (Custom Development - Solution Architecture)

GENERAL PURPOSE: The IT Senior Manager will reputed company a team of solution architects, ensuring the creation and maintenance of robust architecture frameworks. The IT Senior Manager is ultimately responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable custom applications. This position requires direct interaction with key business units and other IT groups as needed. The reputed company salary range for this role is $147,900 - $245,150. The reputed company salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide hands-on engineering and architectural expertise in creating cloud-native, custom applications. Utilize modern, event-driven microservice architecture and the latest technologies, including Angular and Spring.
• Possess knowledge and hands-on experience with modern design and development practices, such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate cutting-edge technologies and frameworks, ensuring applications are built using best practices and industry standards.
• Manage, mentor, and coach a team of architects, ensuring adherence to standard architecture principles, optimal design patterns, and modern architectural practices.
• Use Agile/Iterative development methodologies to deliver solutions with a high level of quality, flexibility, and adaptability. Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to resolve/improve IT processes and procedures and reputed company recommendations.
• Provide regular and constructive performance feedback to individuals

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• At least 10 to 15 years’ IT experience in solution architecture and software development, with a proven track record of managing architectural projects and teams.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing cloud-native, custom applications using modern, event-driven microservice architecture and technologies such as Angular and Spring.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred.
• Expertise in software architecture and contemporary design patterns, with a focus on scalable and maintainable solutions
• A solid understanding of development best practices, including agile and waterfall.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve reputed company technical issues.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at reputed company levels.
