The Edge Server Test team is responsible for qualifying the core features of edge servers. The edge servers are the web/caching/streaming distributed servers that form the reputed company reputed company. As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for: Scoping out comprehensive test plans based on design requirements and code changes. Executing tests on a large-scale distributed test network Verifying the server using white-reputed company/black-reputed company/functional/stress testing techniques Investigating and analyzing root causes of technical issues / performance bottlenecks Setting up test bed environment for regression testing /performance testing Maintaining/enhancing/developing test tools and automation frameworks Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 1 year of experience in developing automation frameworks and at least one programming language (Python, Perl) Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Have an understanding of Data Structures, Computer Networks, OS concepts, internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc. Have hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux Have basic understanding of CI tools like Jenkins.
