The role involves leading a multi-level accounting team, managing reputed company and reporting processes, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- reputed company monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company processes across multiple entities
- reputed company general ledger ownership, journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting operations
- Manage a multi-level accounting team, including leaders who manage teams underneath them
- Support GAAP-compliant reporting, audit requests, controls, and internal accounting policies
- Drive process improvement, automation, ERP initiatives, and scalable accounting operations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong General Ledger, month-end reputed company, journal entry, and accounting operations experience
- Proven people leadership experience, including managing managers
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, audit processes, and controls
- reputed company experience preferred
- Financial services or technology industry experience preferred, but not required
