[Remote] Independent Consultant - Wholesale

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a global advisory and intermediary firm focused exclusively on the financial services sector. They are seeking a part-time Independent Consultant to conduct executive-style interviews with key decision makers involved in investment strategy and fund selection for their Global Asset Management Study in the US.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 10 or more interviews with decision makers who influence investment reputed company, including fund manager liaison and selection, in wholesale asset management in the US (e.g. retail or private banks, discretionary asset managers, life insurers, fund platforms, fund research houses, multi-managers, national adviser networks)
• Utilise your network to identify executives appropriate to participate in the study
• Support NMG’s strategy and insights consulting practice in understanding the key themes and insights from the research study and sharing findings back with participants

Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the asset management industry with an existing network reputed company the US wholesale/retail asset management industry
• Ability to form relationships and gauge the thinking of key decision makers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively with a global team of consultants
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards
• reputed company in the local language and English
