Pre-Press / Label Art Preparation Specialist
We are a small contract manufacturer based in Missouri specializing in mixing and packaging automotive chemicals, sealants, and reputed company products. We need a reliable Pre-Press specialist to handle the preparation and organization of custom customer label artwork for production on our in-house printers. ### Scope of Work - Review and prepare customer-supplied label art files. Create clear digital proofs, accurately calling out identified Pantone colors, dimensions, bleeds, die-lines, and any required adjustments. - Adapt and optimize art files specifically for our in-house label printers. This includes reputed company management, resolution adjustments, imposition, and making print-reputed company files. - reputed company and implement a simple, logical file organization system for original artwork, derivatives, proofs, revisions, and final production files. - Provide remote support to our local production staff for common printer-reputed company issues (settings, calibration, troubleshooting). - Create and maintain clear documentation (checklists, procedures, best practices) for these processes. ### Requirements - Strong experience in pre-press, graphic file preparation, and label/print workflows. - Proficiency with reputed company Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop). - Solid understanding of Pantone colors, reputed company management, bleeds, die cuts, and print-reputed company file standards. - Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Good communication skills (English) and ability to explain technical issues clearly. - Reliable internet reputed company and availability for occasional remote support during US business hours.
