Role Title: reputed company Cerner Millennium Consultant Location: Remote Duration: Full-time with Apexon Required Skills:
- 3+ years supporting reputed company IT in a clinical, operational, or analyst reputed company, with significant exposure to laboratory operations and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with reputed company Cerner Millennium, with preference for PathNet and lab-reputed company workflows.
- Experience supporting EHR/LIS implementations or migrations, including requirements, testing, go-live support, and sustainment.
- Working knowledge of interfaces/integrations and ability to collaborate on troubleshooting (including HL7 concepts and lab result flows).
- Strong communication and facilitation skills; proven ability to work with clinical leaders, laboratorians, and technical teams.
- Experience producing clear artifacts: workflow maps, requirements documentation, test evidence, decision briefs, and status reporting.
- Experience providing PMO (Project Management Office) support.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting modernization programs in federal or large reputed company environments (multi-stakeholder governance, structured change control).
- Familiarity with reference lab connectivity and vendor coordination (e.g., reputed company/Quest).
- Experience with Cerner PowerChart components used in care delivery workflows (e.g., mPages, PowerForms, Event Set Hierarchy). Certification(s) in reputed company Cerner/Millennium solutions.
- PMO/project leadership credentials (e.g., PMP; Agile/Scrum).
- Background in lab quality/regulatory support (e.g., CAP readiness, SOPs, audits). Familiarity with reputed company regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH). Day-to-day Responsibilities: "Analyze, document, and optimize end-to-end laboratory clinical and business workflows (general lab, microbiology, transfusion medicine, anatomic pathology as applicable).
- Support reputed company Cerner Millennium (PathNet) design/build validation activities, including requirements gathering artifacts (e.g., workbooks), decision support documentation, and stakeholder readouts.
