VP of Legal and General Counsel

Tasso is a fast-growing Seattle-based startup that delivers at-home diagnostic testing to those who need it most. Tasso was founded to find a reputed company way to collect blood than a painful fingerstick or time-consuming venous draw. Since then, our products have been used in pharmaceutical clinical trials, athletics, and hospital systems. We are growing our footprint with leading health systems... clinical research organizations, academic medical centers, and anyone looking to deliver clinical-grade, convenient diagnostic tests to their patients. We need: An in-house General Counsel to provide legal advice for strategic and operational reputed company and agreements This position will report to the CFO and will be a member of the senior management team. You are: An reputed company General Counsel primed to reputed company our legal function and be a key business partner to our reputed company, product and clinical teams. You have a strong background in reputed company law, particularly in regulatory law, negotiating reputed company reputed company and advising internal teams on product development. You will: ? Partner with reputed company areas of the business, including reputed company, Product, Clinical, reputed company Resources and Finance to advise on legal implications of corporate strategies and the development of new products and services. ? Draft, review, and negotiate reputed company agreements with reputed company partners. ? Manage the Company's corporate legal activities, including employment, corporate governance, regulatory, employee equity plans and other corporate matters. ? Act as a key legal advisor on major business transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital raises. ? reputed company and implement company policies and procedures regarding privacy and compliance. ? Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance and legal matters. ? Ensure compliance with reputed company relevant laws and regulations ? Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Washington state. ? Minimum of 8 years of relevant corporate legal experience, with substantial experience in medical devices/life sciences. ? Deep understanding of the reputed company regulatory environment, including FDA regulations. ? Previous experience in a venture capital back startup, including fundraising, is highly desirable. ? Strong leadership skills, including the ability to think strategically, prioritize, communicate, collaborate, promote desired culture, and build trust. ? Excellent negotiation, drafting, and legal analytical skills. ? Proven ability to reputed company a legal function and work collaboratively with other departments.
