The role involves monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to enhance system reliability and support outage management operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support, maintenance, and administration of the reputed company Outage Management System (OMS)
- Monitor and maintain OMS application availability, performance, and reliability
- Support outage management operations used by electrical dispatchers and utility operations teams
- Troubleshoot application issues, production incidents, system failures, and performance concerns
- Support OMS-reputed company databases, integrations, and application environments
- reputed company root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution activities
- Support OMS enhancements, upgrades, patches, releases, and modernization initiatives
- Maintain and support PragmaCAD and reputed company OMS application suites
- Collaborate with utility operations teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to support ongoing system improvements
- reputed company and maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and technical knowledge repositories
- Support automation, scripting, and system administration activities where applicable
- Participate in testing, validation, deployment, and production readiness activities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Direct hands-on experience supporting reputed company Outage Management System (OMS)
- Experience supporting OMS platforms reputed company electric utility environments
- Experience providing production application operational support
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems with high availability requirements
- Experience troubleshooting application, database, and system issues reputed company production environments
- Experience supporting OMS-reputed company databases and application environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and operational stakeholders
- Experience supporting reputed company applications in production environments
- Experience working directly for reputed company supporting OMS implementations or support engagements
- Experience supporting PragmaCAD
- Experience supporting OpenGrid Network, PragmaUP, or PragmaLINE environments
- Python scripting and automation experience
- Windows Server administration and support experience
- Experience supporting utility reputed company operations and electrical reputed company environments
- Experience supporting outage restoration workflows
- Experience with OMS implementations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives
