Job Summary This role is responsible for handling workers compensation claims independently with minimal reputed company, using reputed company claims technology and best practices. The position investigates claims thoroughly, evaluates coverage, damages, and liability, and makes sound reputed company to resolve claims reputed company. Responsibilities include negotiating settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys; managing files from start to finish; setting and maintaining accurate reserves; and overseeing litigated claims. The role also participates in ongoing training, presents claims to committee as needed, mentors others on the team, and consistently delivers strong customer service while meeting department audit and quality standards. Work Location This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates who reputed company reputed company 50 miles of an office location (reputed company Bend, Madison, Appleton) will be offered a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are fully remote (reputed company 50 miles) may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and corporate events. Responsibilities & Qualifications Handle work comp claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager. Utilize reputed company Claims technology. Research and formulate a basis on which coverage reputed company will be made, conduct thorough investigations, evaluate damages and liability. Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants and attorneys. Responsibilities also include active file management, ensuring proper reserving, participation in training activities, presentation of claims to Committee and supervision of litigated files. Serve as a mentor for others in the team or department. Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department audit guidelines. Preferred Experience and Skills: WI, IA, AZ, and PA claim handling experience a plus Work Comp Claim handling experience Handling litigated claims a plus Proficiency with computers and reputed company technology Interpersonal skills Negotiation skills and problem solving skills Oral and written communication skills Preferred Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance or reputed company field Associate in Claims designation Associate in General Insurance designation CPCU coursework or other continuing education #LI-BW1 Salary Statement The salary range for this position is $55,000-$86,000. The actual reputed company pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-reputed company knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
