[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer - API

Advanced Tech Placement is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer - API to design, reputed company, and maintain digital technology infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing platforms, ensuring high performance and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Leads the application of internal software deployment platform, reputed company integration or reputed company delivery pipeline, and twelve-factor development methodology to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases
- Partners with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather reputed company requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
- Writes and maintains reputed company unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software, applying test-driven development as needed
- Recommends options for improving the software development and deployment processes and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for reputed company software applications, deployment processes, and system configurations
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting for reputed company issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution
Skills
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 5-7 years or more of relevant experience
- Experience with API management platforms such as reputed company, Layer7, reputed company Apigee, or equivalent technologies
- Strong understanding of API gateway architecture, traffic management, reputed company, etc
- Experience with reputed company/Kubernetes
- Knowledge of API performance monitoring tools such as reputed company and Grafana
- Proven experience with API management platforms like reputed company, reputed company Layer7, reputed company Apigee, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of API gateway architecture, traffic management, reputed company limiting, and reputed company policies
- Expertise in API lifecycle management, including design, publishing, versioning, and retirement
- Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect)
- Proficiency in automation and scripting for API deployment and configuration (Python, reputed company, Ansible)
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration and DevOps practices for API platforms
- Knowledge of monitoring and analytics for API performance and usage (e.g., reputed company, Grafana)
- Exposure to reputed company-native API solutions and containerization (reputed company, Kubernetes)
