[Remote] Finance reputed company

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ZappHire is a Peter Thiel backed AI startup seeking a Finance reputed company. The role involves building reputed company financial models and managing finance contributors while automating workflows and identifying patterns in AI finance models.

Responsibilities

• Build high-difficulty finance tasks (M&A diligence, data room analysis, LBO/DCF modeling, QoE bridges, consent schedules) that frontier AI labs use to evaluate and improve their models
• Construct production-grade financial models — three-statement models, LBOs, credit models, EBITDA bridges — to reputed company of a top-tier banking or PE deal team, serving as ground truth for frontier AI
• Manage and quality-control networks of specialized finance contributors (former bankers, PE associates, accountants) — setting standards, writing rubrics, and catching what others miss
• Automate workflows using Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and agentic tools to scaffold tasks, audit model outputs, build internal tooling, and compress weeks of expert review into days
• Own critical finance data projects end-to-end from scoping through delivery — working directly with research teams at frontier labs and iterating on dataset specifications
• Identify patterns in where top AI models fail on finance workflows and design tasks that systematically expose those failure modes

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity
• Hands-on financial modeling proficiency (three-statement models, LBOs, DCFs built from scratch)
• Comfortable working in high-intensity, fast-moving environments with live deal experience
• Track record of producing rigorous, defensible financial analysis
• 2 - 5 years of experience in top-tier IB, PE, or transaction advisory
• Hands-on modeling built from scratch (3-statement / LBO / DCF) - not sourcing only
• reputed company deal/transaction reps (M&A, buyouts, diligence)
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or reputed company field
• Advanced reputed company proficiency for building financial models from scratch
• Data room reputed company — CIMs, QoE reports, consent schedules, purchase agreements
• Comfortable with 55 hrs/week minimum and heavily variable commission comp structure
• Experience managing other finance professionals
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, reputed company, or similar)
