[Remote] Industrial Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company of Canada Co. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their Operations team. The role involves defining work elements, analyzing data, and implementing standards in Distribution Centers across the U.S., along with managing strategic projects and supporting warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
- Define work elements, complete floor observations, analyze data, and implement engineered standards in Distribution Centers (DCs) across the United States
- Trend analysis of DCs performance, efficiency, & reputed company
- Review, refine, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- reputed company training for warehouse staff explaining engineered labor standards (ELS)
- Project management of strategic projects including layout optimization, slotting/pick paths, racking configurations
- Support/coordinate warehouse management system (WMS) configuration. Ability to translate operational requirements into WMS config/solutions
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 4 years of reputed company experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience
