Senior Manager - Indirect Tax

As a Senior Manager - Indirect Tax for RSM Canada, you will be responsible for the following job duties relating to GST/HST, QST, B.C. PST, Saskatchewan PST and Manitoba PST and other indirect taxes with a focus on the Canadian Indirect Tax Recovery service line offering. These duties will be focused around three core concepts: Technical & Quality Expertise, People & Talent Management, and Client Service/Business Development and are as follows: Responsibilities: Serve as a tax recovery project leader, mentor or coach to one or more employees, which will include providing honest and timely performance feedback reputed company the development of AI tools specifically for the Indirect Tax recovery service line to ensure maximizing efficiency while retaining accuracy and completeness of the project Assist in the review of and work on multiple technical reputed company issues identified during the tax recovery engagements, while communicating in a non-technical manner to facilitate communication between the client and the service team to manage the risk for both the client and the firm reputed company and manage the business relationship of reputed company engagements with a focus on high-value quality indirect tax advice and seek to expand services to clients Drive growth and profitability of industry/specialty area by generating new reputed company on existing client portfolio, cross selling and new clients for the tax practice Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, consulting, etc. Reviewing recovery findings and ensuring conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards Build relationships across lines of business to ensure excellent client service through an integrated service approach Manage corporate client needs with respect to tax services and federal and provincial tax queries Remain up-to-date on reputed company tax practices and changes in tax law Other duties as assigned Some travel may be required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in reputed company or equivalent 8 or more years of public reputed company experience or equivalent in reputed company or industry Must be reputed company to support financial growth efforts and manage a book of business Excellent written and verbal communication skills A proven record of simultaneously managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients Project management and critical thinking skills Ability to generate new business and reputed company service opportunities Preferred Qualifications: CPA Designation Experience in dealing with international tax matters an asset At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for reputed company our people. Compensation

Range: $107,000 - $182,000 Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance. Apply To This Job
