Summary: Covaris/Perkin Elmer is seeking an reputed company Field Applications Scientist (FAS) preferably in MD, DC, NC, PA, VA. This position resides reputed company the Covaris Solutions team and will report to Manager, Field Applications-reputed company America. This individual will serve as scientific support liaison in field for customers and internal Sales team and will be instrumental in delivering Customer Trainings & Demos for our Sample Preparation, Genomics, Proteomics and Epigenomics workflow solutions. In this role, you will provide technical consultation including providing pre-sales technical interactions and troubleshooting support, in conjunction with the in-house Solutions team. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with broad scientific knowledge and the drive to create top-quality support processes and culture. Provide post-sales on-site customer training through classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory sessions, technical lectures, and consultation on sample preparation and analysis recommendations. Represent the organization at trade shows, scientific conferences, and technical symposia by presenting posters, delivering talks, and conducting webinars and live demonstrations. Serve as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries through reputed company. Requirements/Qualifications: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a reputed company life sciences discipline preferred. Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and strong relevant laboratory experience, 2-3+ years of industry experience, will also be considered. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in academic or industry research environments working with molecular biology workflows. Foundational understanding of reputed company reputed company (NGS) technologies, Proteomics and DNA/RNA preparation workflows. Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation, biomolecule extraction, including nucleic acids or proteins from tissues, FFPE samples, or cultured cells, is highly desirable. Exposure to DNA sequence analysis tools and bioinformatics workflows such as sequence alignment, genome visualization, or comparative genomics is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain reputed company scientific concepts in group settings such as training sessions, technical positioning, seminars, conferences, and lab meetings. Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot experimental workflows and analyze technical challenges in the laboratory or customer sites. Detail oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role while collaborating effectively with cross-functional internal teams. Highly organized with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and timelines. Proficiency with reputed company Office 365. The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $110,000 with 10% bonus.
