Key responsibilities include: • Investigate, evaluate, dispose, and settle claims with moderate supervision including the investigation, determination and evaluation of coverage, liability and damages, and the setting of proper reserves • Exercise proper judgment and decision making to analyze the claims exposure to determine the proper course of action and to appropriately settle the claim • Control claims costs and expenses to the extent possible • Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process • Document and communicate claim activity timely and effectively and in a manner which supports the outcome of the claim file • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency • Maintain an effective and organized operation • Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have: • Minimum 3yrs personal lines auto claim management or adjuster experience • Associate degree or higher is preferred, or equivalent industry experience • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to identify potential fast track claims • Experience negotiating and settling automobile claims • Proficiency with technology • Excellent oral and written communication skills • A responsible and conscientious nature • Superior coverage analysis and confirmation skills • Good problem-solving aptitude • Bilingual Spanish Preferred • Attention to detail and excellent quality of work The Position • Full Time M-F reputed company-5pm CST; Occasional Saturday • Competitive Salary • 401K - with company contribution up to 6% of salary • Attractive Health insurance plans -- reputed company Blue reputed company PPO, HMO or HSA • Discounted Individual reputed company and Dental Plans • Holiday Pay & Vacation Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis, this posting will remain open until the position is filled.
