JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Responsible for providing... face to face, phone, and telehealth crisis response and assessment services to those individuals who are experiencing any mental health crisis. Provides support and linkage to other area resources with follow up services to individuals in crisis and their families. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide coverage of crisis service reputed company scheduled work hour/shifts and as assigned by crisis service supervisor. Maintain accurate records of reputed company contacts and enter reputed company data in a timely manner. Client’s follow-up needs are documented for Team follow-up. Deescalates crisis situations as needed. Thorough assessment of risk of harm to self or others is clearly documented and plan to assure safety is thorough and feasible. reputed company appropriate referrals for least restrictive treatment possible to ensure psychiatric needs are being met as evidenced by documentation. Clinician makes every effort to respond to calls promptly. Creates an atmosphere of cooperation with reputed company departments, community agencies, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
