As an Outbound Call Center Representative, you will connect with members of various Medicare Advantage and Medicaid health plans to offer and coordinate complimentary in-home or virtual healthcare evaluations. Your role will be vital in achieving productivity, quality, and... customer service objectives within the Member Engagement department. Key Responsibilities • Conduct an average of 50 outbound calls hourly using an automatic dialer to present, clarify, and schedule complimentary in-home or virtual health evaluations. • Follow standardized scripts to ensure clarity in communication, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism and tact. • Maintain an upbeat, energetic, and professional attitude while engaging with clients, health plan members, and colleagues. • Achieve daily departmental targets, including 300-400 outbound calls and scheduling 24 appointments per day, while adhering to attendance and quality benchmarks. • Make necessary adjustments to appointments for members and providers, including rescheduling or cancellations. • Track and report performance metrics, such as call volumes and appointment outcomes, through designated reporting systems. • Promptly escalate member complaints and concerns to the Member Engagement Manager. • Participate in peer coaching sessions to support team development and enhance overall performance. • Comply with HIPAA and other privacy regulations when handling protected health information. Required Skills • At least 1 year of call center experience or 2 years of general work experience. • Proven ability to persuade and manage rebuttals while treating all members with respect and courtesy. • Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. • Strong computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate multiple systems during calls. • Proficiency in the English language is essential. Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. • Experience in an outbound call center or high-volume environment is highly desirable, particularly with an auto dialer and scripted interactions. • Ability to adhere to a structured daily schedule, including designated start times and breaks.
