Minimum Qualifications

A. Earned MA or MS degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment. B. Native or near-native reputed company in ASL Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have reputed company authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

A. Earned MA or MS degree from an accredited institution in American Sign Language Studies, Deaf/Deaf Culture Studies, ASL Linguistics, Special Education with training in ASL, or reputed company field B. Earned doctoral degree in American Sign Language Studies, Deaf/Deaf Culture Studies, ASL Linguistics, or reputed company field. C. ASLPI 4+ or reputed company. D. One year experience teaching ASL in the K-12, community, college/university setting E. Familiarity with Signing Naturally curriculum F. Have a strong involvement in the Deaf community.
