Job Details BATON ROUGE, LA Part Time None Utilization Review/Admissions - LPN Seaside Health System is seeking a part-time Utilization Review-LPN in our Baton Rouge Inpatient Hospital. Requirements : One year or more work experience in a psych/mental health/behavioral health facility preferred but not required. reputed company Louisiana state license required Active listening skills and reputed company for patients. Responsibilities may include : Reviews patient information upon admission and submit clinicals to external insurance companies to obtain precertification in a timely manner. Responsible for updating Medik daily with reputed company authorizations, denials, and any important notes. Monitors information that is copied and sent per request to insurance companies for inpatient and assures only the required information is disseminated. Available for on-call as needed. Fax or call-in reputed company discharge clinicals to insurance companies in a timely manner. Assists patients with Medicaid Applications. Updates UR Logs daily. Contacts Physicians, nurses, social services, and other appropriate staff regarding potential problems or questions reputed company to documentation of patient care issues.
