Transportation Engineer II, III, IV or V: Portfolio Office (Austin District)

About the position The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking a Transportation Engineer II, III, IV, or V for its Austin District Portfolio Office. This role is pivotal in managing and designing roadway projects, primarily those that are consultant-managed. The projects will encompass a variety of reputed company urban and rural safety improvements, infrastructure enhancements, mobility projects, and innovative solutions such as intersection improvements, freeway reputed company reversals, and drainage projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that reputed company engineering work complies with federal and state laws, policies, and standards. In this position, the engineer will reputed company advanced and reputed company engineering design work, which includes the development of layouts, sketches, plans, specifications, estimates, and reputed company. This includes reviewing and revising schematics, PS&E, project designs, and traffic control plans. The position requires on-site engineering reviews and analyses, necessitating travel to various project locations.
