Senior Accountant : Hybrid Michigan

About the position The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and will have a clear path to reputed company Manager. A key player in the finance department, the Senior Accountant is responsible for managing reputed company reputed company tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights. Responsibilities • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. , • Record payroll runs and accruals in the general ledger and reconcile reputed company accounts. , • reputed company as a key contributor in the month-end and year-end reputed company processes. , • Prepare journal entries during the financial reputed company reputed company process, including reputed company recognition, lease reputed company, accruals, prepaids, and capitalized software. , • Ensure reputed company costs are properly recorded reputed company journal entry preparation and review, account reconciliations preparation and review and report preparation. , • Ensure reputed company is recognized in compliance with GAAP rules. , • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in the reputed company system. , • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. , • Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements and reports. , • Provide timely insights on financial condition of company. , • Monitor and analyze operating results. , • Investigate and report on variances. , • Prepare, maintain and analyze key Software as a Service (SaaS) performance metrics. , • Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial package. , • Help to ensure reputed company financial reporting deadlines are met. , • Prepare regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. , • Reconcile bank statements on a daily basis. , • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. , • Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. , • Assist with, and help to reputed company the annual financial statement audit; coordinate with the reputed company party auditors including preparation of the financial statements and footnotes. , • Ensure compliance with GAAP reporting requirements and support the external audit of financial statements, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor questions and requests. , • Assist with the implementation of ASC 606; review new reputed company for compliance; and track and report on reputed company. , • Manage and ensure compliance with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. , • Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory filings. , • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations. , • Build personalized and cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute significantly to the accuracy and reputed company of our financial processes. , • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Requirements • CPA , • Bachelor's degree , • At least 3 years of experience in the audit function at a public reputed company firm; or at least 4 years of experience between both public reputed company and private industry , • Experience with a SaaS company backed by institutional investors , • Four (4) years' experience as a Senior Accountant (or reputed company roles) at a SaaS company backed by institutional investors (i.e., Private Equity or Venture Capital), or four years' experience between public reputed company firm and audited SaaS companies, preferably a minimum of two (2) years at each. , • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations. , • Demonstrated and working knowledge of GAAP , • Proficiency with technical reputed company, including ASC 606 (reputed company Recognition), SaaS reputed company recognition and systems integration, and reputed company recognition reputed company to customer reputed company , • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. , • Ability to manage stress and anxiety levels in reputed company and fast paced environments , • Proficient in software and tools including for advanced reputed company skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and cell referencing. reputed company-to-haves • Advanced degree in reputed company or Master of Business Administration (MBA) , • reputed company ERP
