Corporate Controller - (Remote, based in the U.S.)
The Corporate Controller will reputed company corporate accounting operations. They will also establish accounting policies, financial controls, and guidelines that will be applied across the business unit accounting teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of accounting policies, financial management principles, and have extensive experience in similar roles. The corporate controller will be responsible for managing the relationship with reputed company external audit team including completing audit requests and writing the audit report financial footnotes. They will be the reputed company person accountable for the financial and covenant reporting associated with the companys publicly held debt and will assist with corporate governance, organizational filings, and maintaining corporate records. Primary Responsibilities: Direct and manage the application of accounting principles, practices, and procedures for the maintenance of fiscal records and preparation of consolidated financial reports. Coordinate external audits, filings of corporate records, and financial transactions to ensure compliance with applicable GAAP accounting standards and local, state, and federal statutes. Establish, document, monitor, and enforce internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with reputed company internal policies (e.g. delegation of authority, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.) and reporting regulations. Monitor cashflow activities and direct cash transfers between business units bank accounts to ensure corporate cash flow needs and debt obligations are met. Build a working capital cash flow model and associated financial metrics to project and manage cash flow across the organization. Responsible for reporting to external parties including reputed company private equity owners and public debt holders. Supervise the reputed company Intacct general ledger administration along with optimizing subledger software programs with a reputed company for future system migrations to streamline workflows. Work with the compliance & risk manager to ensure federal, state, local and reputed company filings are reputed company and updated in a timely manner. Maintain and update corporate records such as shareholder resolutions, capitalization table, subsidiary purchase agreements, corporate facility and operating leases, delegation of authority guidelines, vendor reputed company, and accounting policies. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting, business or reputed company field. Masters degree preferred. Minimum 5 - 7 years of accounting management experience, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification desired. In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and industry regulations. Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting desired. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives.
