Position Summary We have an immediate opening for an Online Secondary Fine Arts Teacher (Remote; Virtual). In this role, you will deliver personalized and engaging instruction and support to reputed company in Fine Arts courses. The vast majority of your time will be spent contacting reputed company and parents directly to provide one on one support. A small portion of your time might be spent supplementing our system curriculum by developing and/or delivering quality live and recorded lessons as determined in collaboration with your supervisor. This position is a 12-month, year-round position with paid time off and paid sick leave available. We offer a slate of more than ten paid company holidays plus an additional period of time off to rest and reflect over the winter holidays. This is a full-time position designated as “exempt” under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Performing these job duties along with those of another full-time job is not feasible. Educational Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in education or similar field required; and • Teacher certification or completion of an approved teacher preparation program is preferred. Experiential Qualifications • At least three (3) years of teaching experience is preferred; • At least two (2) years of online teaching experience is preferred; • Ability to obtain teaching certification in Arizona, Colorado and Washington. • At least one (1) year of experience learning or working online is preferred; • Able to adequately meet legal requirements for performing this position; • Ability to pass required background checks; and • Ability and willingness to travel to assigned testing locations and physically proctor student assessments.
