Additional Information

The Trade Compliance Analyst provides complex analysis, daily operational execution, and monitoring of company's trade compliance programs, policies, procedures and internal audit programs to ensure compliance with US and Foreign Government screening, import and export

regulations.

What You Will Do at Extreme Networks

Provide day-to-day operational execution for the trade compliance function which includes restricted party screening, classification (HTS, ECCN), country of origin determination, import/export documentation, and recordkeeping.

Establish and monitor service provider performance and report monthly to management as well as participate in quarterly supplier business reviews of products and service.

Conduct complex internal and external audits assessing Extreme Networks’ global trade compliance for all Extreme Networks U.S. operating entities. Assist in determining and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

Research and make compliance recommendations to reduce costs and mitigate regulatory risks.

Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other third-party service providers.

Review potential matches to restricted party screening lists through customer and end user research to ensure compliance.

Manage export licenses to ensure appropriate licensing requirements are met.

May create training and guidance documentation for other internal teams.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring to Extreme Networks

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Experience in a corporate environment.

Familiarity working in a remote environment.

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

Ability to participate in cross-functional teams within Extreme Networks to achieve goals and objectives.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to influence others through demonstrated expertise.

Team player with an excellent sense of humor.

Preferred Qualifications

1-3 years trade compliance experience.

Strong working knowledge of US or European Union classifications and export controls, Trade Agreement Act and other special government programs.

US Customs Broker License, CUSECO, or other international trade certification

Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement training

Experience coordinating with third party logistics service providers.
