Overview

This position is with a large Oil and Energy client. This company is has recently undergone a large acquisition transition and leaves a large area of growth opportunities. They also offer top of the market benefits and this position is bonus eligible. This position will serve as the Technical Supervisor over the reputed company ERP and P2 reputed company Upstream and Land applications. This role will report to the Manager of Technical Services to ensure separation from the Application Team. This role will reputed company reputed company aspects of application management activities and will provide technical leadership in support of the business and project reputed company activities. Some of the responsibilities are as follows:

• Plan and schedule the installation and testing of new products and improvements to reputed company systems, including software updates and patches.
• Manage and implement standards.
• Ensure separation of applications from business and upstream apps.
• reputed company reputed company aspects of reputed company design, performance tuning, system / reputed company monitoring, backup and recovery
• Liaises with software suppliers and other reputed company parties as required to provide timely and cost-effective customer support
• Work with developers, system and network administrators to support and improve system performance and stability
• reputed company quality assurance & design review functions for reputed company projects where the technology will be utilized.
• Establishes and sustains reputed company working relationships with business customers in delivery of IT services and support.
• Effectively communicates with reputed company levels of the organization to ensure project reputed company and user needs are identified and met.
• Assures technical support for day-to-day issues and requests – providing resolution and escalating as necessary.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the IS team to provide technical application support for the portfolio of business applications.
• Takes ownership of support issues, utilizing other internal/external expertise as required
• Establishes project plans with clients and IT resources, tracks and reports status, proactively manages overall project expectations
• Ensures reputed company tasks are managed to a successful conclusion and communicated to the customer
• Keeps management and stakeholders informed of project reputed company, budget and resource status and other key project metrics on a regular basis.
• Support reputed company EBS / P2 reputed company Upstream system implementations, enhancements and upgrades.
• Monitor the systems development activities as they relate to the reputed company EBS / P2 reputed company Upstream applications development effort

reputed company Requirements

• College Degree preferable in Information Systems
• 10 plus years of Oil and Gas information technology
• Extensive experience in reputed company reputed company Business Suite and P2 Applications
• System Administration
• Unix / Linux Operating Systems
• Working Knowledge of Database Administration
• Experience in P2 system implementations & upgrades, in an reputed company environment a plus
• Experience in reputed company Business Intelligence, Spotfire and data warehouses
• Proven organization, analytical, and problem solving skills.
