Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance
- Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation
- Assist in property tax reputed company payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)
- Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of recent work experience, including a minimum of two years of experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, reputed company payments, and valuation notices using PTMS
- Bachelor's degree required. J.D., LL.M. in taxation; master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred
- Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax
- Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution reputed company to property tax
