About the position The Bank Examiner/Risk Specialist role at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas involves providing supervisory oversight of the Regional Banking Organization (RBO) portfolio, which includes Bank Holding Companies with consolidated assets between $10-$100 billion. The position requires leading and participating in inspections, examinations, and supervisory events, as well as conducting ongoing monitoring and analyzing financial information to assess risks and risk management practices. The role also includes collaboration with various stakeholders and contributing to Federal Reserve System initiatives. Responsibilities • Analyze financial information and bank policies, procedures, and controls related to safety and soundness examinations and inspections , • Develop work papers to document analysis and support conclusions , • Collaborate with examiners, risk specialists, and regulatory agencies to formulate and recommend regulatory assessments and findings , • Share views and be open to feedback and coaching , • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and staff across the RBO business line , • Participate in or lead supervisory events for institutions in the RBO portfolio , • Develop and execute a financial institution's supervisory plan and lead the annual inspection/examination as the primary contact.
