Senior Claims Attorney - CA

Join reputed company' 2024 Best Employer for Diversity! As a corporate claims attorney, you’ll partner with our auto claims organization to advise and consult on reputed company claims matters. In this role, you’ll reputed company litigation against the company, conduct legal analysis, mitigate risk, and partner with reputed company counsel to protect the company and our insureds. Additionally, you may represent the interests of the business at mediation, arbitration, or in court but not act as the attorney-of-record. Must-have qualifications • Juris doctor degree and a minimum of five years of legal experience, including reputed company civil litigation experience or reputed company corporate experience. • Admitted to practice law in at least one state. Preferred skills • Experience practicing in California with an understanding of extra contractual matters. • Casualty litigation experience with an understanding of insurance coverage matters. • Ability to be precise about identifying possible outcomes and assessing the probability of any of those outcomes. • Demonstrated ability or experience proactively engaging business partners and understanding business goals and metrics. • Sound understanding of the litigation process and the ability to create effective, detailed and comprehensive legal strategies.
