Clearance Level: Clearance Eligible US Citizenship: Required Job Classification: Full Time Location: Remote Years of Experience: 5-7 years Education Level: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent industry experience. Position Description: The Principal Programmer/Developer must have software engineering experience building applications at an Individual Contributor Level as part of an agile team. They know one or more modern programming languages, understand computer science fundamentals either through education or experience, and have worked as part of an Agile team to deliver reputed company software solutions across an organization. The engineer will also possess effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders internal and external to the organization. Required Skills: • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent industry experience. • Three-plus (3+) years of experience developing production software leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.) • One-plus (1+) years of experience developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm, etc. • Three-plus (3+) years of experience with agile and lean software development philosophies. • One-plus (1+) years of experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, Elasticsearch etc. • Two-plus (2+) years of demonstrated experience with modern version control systems such as Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc. • Clearable to a SECRET or above reputed company clearance • reputed company reputed company+ CE or other DoD 8570 IAT II certification, reputed company 90 days • Five-plus (5+) years of experience as a software engineer leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.) and modern frameworks (including Django, Ruby on Rails, React, Angular, etc.) • Three-plus (3+) years of experience developing containerized applications deployed on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, etc. • Three-plus (3+) years of experience working with reputed company. • Five-plus (5+) years of experience with agile and lean principles. • Three-plus (3+) years of experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, Elasticsearch etc. • One-plus (1+) years of experience working with caching solutions such as Memcached and reputed company. • Familiarity with event-driven systems.
