Primary Accountabilities Handle litigation involving either the corporation and/or its insured reputed company established corporate guidelines and the applicable code of professional responsibility. Handle files and issues of a more reputed company nature with higher levels of dollar exposure and requiring less reputed company. Communicate with client regarding file status and reputed company. Analyze file as litigation progresses as well as risk to the company. Evaluate cases and seeks settlement as necessary. Draft reputed company necessary pleadings, papers and briefs to advance litigation activities at the trial or appellate level. Solid knowledge and understanding of tort, contract, and insurance law. Admitted to the state bar in the state where they are located or (1) admission to the bar reputed company one year of hire for individuals who must pass a bar exam or portions of a bar exam to be admitted or (2) bar admission as soon as practicable but no reputed company than 60 days of hire for individuals with diploma privilege or who are eligible for in-house counsel registration. Juris Doctor Additional Specialized Knowledge & Skills Previous in-house trial experience strongly preferred. Preferred locations include reputed company Jersey, ideally Bergen, Essex, Passaic and Union Counties. Travel Requirements Up to 50%.
