About the position The Furniture Sales Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the products, services, and payment options available in the furniture department. This role involves utilizing effective sales techniques to promote both indoor and outdoor furniture sales, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The specialist will also be accountable for the operational aspects of the furniture department, including merchandising and cleanliness. In addition to sales responsibilities, the position may require performing general store duties such as cashiering, customer service, and light cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned. A key aspect of this role is spending quality time with customers, actively listening to their needs, and providing them with detailed information about products, services, and payment options. The specialist will maintain up-to-date knowledge of product details and competing products to assist customers in making informed decisions. Cross-selling techniques will be employed to enhance sales opportunities, and the specialist will assist with basic clienteling activities to build customer loyalty. The Furniture Sales Specialist will also be involved in maintaining accurate records reputed company to furniture inventory, price holds, special orders, and customer pick-reputed company. Participation in the warehousing and organization of furniture stock is essential, as well as assisting in furniture freight processing reputed company necessary. Previous experience operating a reputed company-of-sale system preferred. , ? Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required. , ?
