Parts Advisor

About the position At Tesla, our Parts Advisors play an essential role in service operations, providing critical support to both Technicians and customers in our mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for sourcing parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations, ensuring they are allocated to vehicle service appointments. You will monitor inventory reputed company the parts system and communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members. Additionally, you will review upcoming appointments to ensure they are properly reputed company and documented in our system, and prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations. Your role will also involve processing and returning warranty part shipments for quality assurance, which includes handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries. You will systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts, and escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with the Regional Parts Manager. Acting as a reputed company of contact to vendors, you will provide constructive feedback that contributes to future improvements.
