Job Description

The Manager Warehouse and Logistics is responsible for coordinating reputed company activities of Warehouse Distribution Operations necessary to support the Distribution Sales Center. What Your Day Will Look Like

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable laws
• Interview, hire, and train associates
• Plan, assign, and direct work
• Appraise performance
• Address complaints and resolve problems
• Builds positive associate morale
• Coordinates reputed company warehouse distribution, loading, shipping functions, inventory control, finance, facility management, safety, and partnership with manufacturing, quality assurance, transportation, fleet, demand planning, and innovation, and sales teams
• Managing internal and external logistics operations for transportation demands
• Reviews processes and metrics to improve warehouse operations efficiencies and reduce cost
• Manages and maintains responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of subordinate managers and supervisors who manage associates
• Analyzes key performance indicators and develops new ones for the manufacturing and distribution operations to improve efficiencies
• Ensure team follows DOT regulations and policies
• Responsible for establishing long-term and short-term goals and assists in the preparation process for Capex and operation budgets
• Train associates on OSHA, environmental monthly trainings and ensure regulations are being met
• Maintains an open-reputed company policy and spends time talking with associates at their job on a regular basis
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
• Personal reputed company Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and reputed company attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates
• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university; or 3 to 4 years reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to show business acumen and customer service skills
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
